Seeing "4:44" on the Clock: Is It Ominous? The True Meaning of Angel Numbers and My Personal Experience

Do you know what angel numbers are? When you look them up online, they are described as loving messages sent to us from angels through numbers.
For example, the number "444" is said to carry positive meanings such as:
- Receiving miraculous support
- Being under the strong protection of numerous angels, allowing you to feel safe and secure
- Past efforts finally taking shape and manifesting
- Establishing a solid foundation in your life and mind
However, looking back quite a few years ago, I frequently found myself noticing "4:44" on the clock late at night. How did I feel when I saw that number back then? To be honest, I didn't know anything about angel numbers. Because the digit "4" is often associated with the word for "death" in Japanese culture, I was gripped by a quiet anxiety, fearing it might be an omen that something ominous was about to happen.
Days of Fearful Nights Staring at "4:44"
Back then, whenever I happened to wake up in the middle of the night and check the clock, the hands would strangely point to 4:44.
Thinking, "Not again...", I would feel a slight sense of unease, though I tried to brush it aside and not think too deeply about it. As time passed, my lifestyle changed so that I rarely stayed up late anymore, and as a result, I almost stopped seeing "4:44" altogether—or at least, I stopped remembering it even if I did.
What Was the "4:44" I Saw So Often Back Then?
Whether my current life aligns with the messages of angel number 444 is something I cannot say for sure.
Even so, what on earth was the "4:44" I kept seeing so frequently in the past? Was it merely a coincidence of the mind, or was it some kind of message tailored to the person I was back then?
Though I may never know for certain now, it makes me feel a bit nostalgic, remembering how I used to be startled by repeating numbers, taking them as bad omens.
